The Codicote Planning team was appointed by one of the incumbent builders working at the Clayton Campus to review, assess and carry out a high level feasibly study of the Southern Precinct development proposals.
The Southern Precinct development included multiple construction projects that would potentially be underway concurrently thus providing potential operational issues for the University and for each of the individual projects.
This included reviewing the individual and overall development objectives as well as initial programme and staging proposals prepared by others. From this we assisted in the determination of potential project and development delivery issues and the presentation of solutions that could overcome these issues.
Our response included a detailed report, multiple staging plans including conforming and non-conforming staging options, buildability initiatives and programme summaries.
Our output also involved putting forward a number of significant time saving initiatives that would potentially provide major benefits for Monash University across the full development timeline.
